Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department conducted a one day seminar “Electrical Safety” for both S7 EEE & S7 ECE students on 11th January 2017 at Seminar Hall. The main intention of this class was to make students aware of Various Safety aspects & precautions in Electrical industries.
Prof P V Thankachen – (HOD EEE Dept). Gave an Inaugural Speech mentioning the importance of Electrical Safety. An Overseas Engineer Suresh K took an interesting session on “Electrical Safety” – Very important topic for Engineers. He explained 12 Golden rules for Safety which must be important & useful for Electrical engineers. Different classes of Work permit Class A, Class B and procedures to be followed to work in Overseas Oil & Gas sectors. He explained CPR “Cardio-Pulmonary- Rescution” and immediate actions to be followed when electric shock occurs in the human body.
After this session he shows some informative & interesting videos related to Electrical Safety. This is an interactive session in which Students realized the importance of safety. Mr. Renjith P C (AP-EEE) gave Vote of thanks & session ends with Feedback from students.
