The Electrical & Electronics Department association of SIMAT, (Blitz Krieg) organized the Fourth Webinar of the ElectroBlitz Webinar series ““Electric Vehicle Control” by Ms. Haritha P EEED Alumnus 2013-17 Batch-Project Engineer-Entuple Emobility, Banglore”. The webinar was attended by 85 participants include Faculties. Students, Alumni of SIMAT, Students from other colleges & professionals from various fields
The webinar commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Rejaneesh R (Assistant Professor EEE). The welcome address was followed by the Inaugural session. The webinar was inaugurated by Mr. Renjith P C (HOD- EEE). Sujith M S -(Assistant Professor EEE)) felicitated the event. Suhana Husna & Terinshim (Student coordinators, EEE) coordinated the program.
The session was handled by Ms. Haritha P-EEED Alumnus 2013-17 Batch -Project Engineer-Entuple Emobility, Banglore. Starting the session with a discussion “Why we need EV”. The various control motors used in Electric Vehicles & different algorithms used for motor control. Brief comparison of different motors with advantages & disadvantages are clearly explained in the Presentation.
Different charging methods of Electric Vehicles with clear explanation of on road Wireless Charging system. Speed control requirements of Electric vehicle and comparison with ordinary vehicle. She explained the Present Scenario and research work going on the Electric Vehicle & Charging requirements. A number of Startups are in the Ongoing research in EV technology and in near future Vehicle technology changes with Cost effective Electric Vehicle on road. All queries related to Electric Vehicle Technology are explained in this session. It is a great exposure for participants to know the Details of EV Technology.
The Show ends with a feedback session and presentation of a Digital Memento as a token of Honor to Ms. Harirha P which was presented by Ganga P – Assistant Professor – EEE Department. Mr. Terinshim (Student coordinator) delivered the Vote of Thanks.
