Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology is the offspring of Sreepathy Trust which is made up of technocrats, engineers, philanthropists, industrialists, and individuals having a common goal, that of providing a platform to promote quality higher education and research in professional disciplines like technical and engineering subjects, medical and paramedical, management studies, agriculture, biotechnology and cultural studies in order that deserving candidates irrespective of caste, color and creed are given an opportunity to pursue their education. Sreepathy Institute of Management and Technology is located on a beautiful lush green hillock at Vavanoor, near Pattambi, on the Palakkad Guruvayoor Highway. The Institute is Approved by AICTE and affiliated to the APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University

As we are all aware, we are living in a time of unprecedented change in all facets of society, brought on by global interconnectivity and the rapid spread of knowledge. This has resulted in a disruptive change in education and the economy and only the flexible forward-thinking amongst us will be able to cope with the changes.
At SIMAT, we have been keenly aware of these trends and have been at the forefront of preparing the students for the future. Our Infrastructure and labs are state-of-the-art, as are our libraries. Our faculty in turn are following some of the best practices available in the country and Industry interaction and internships are part of the learning experience.. Proof of this can be seen from the fact that while a great number of our students are from rural communities, they consistently feature in University rank lists. Our students are exposed to a variety of personality development and other skill sets in addition to their core studies to enable their future success as professionals and technocrats.

Dr. S.P. Subramanian (ME, Ph.D, FIE, MISTE) Principal, Sreepathy Institute of Management & Technology, graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College, Calicut University in the year 1984. He did his Masters in Thermal Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai, and completed Doctoral Degree from the same institute in the field of Energy Technologies. He is a fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) and is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education. Dr. Subramanian has wide experience in the field of teaching, research and academic administration. He has worked in colleges under Anna University under various categories and is currently working in Sreepathy Institute of Management & Technology, Vavanoor.
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to join Sreepathy Family. Engineering Education in the self-financing sector in India is facing an uphill task of survival. Unscrupulous growth in the number of colleges, branches, and batches have resulted in quality dilution and unemployment which makes it less attractive. We at Sreepathy create a difference to the general trend by following multi-faceted activities. Disciplined and motivated students with the right attitude who upon proper training we provide succeed in career and life. Excellent infrastructure, highly committed management, qualified and motivated staff members to support the student community.
