ROBOTICS AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving world of intelligent machines, automation, and smart systems. The course integrates principles from electronics, mechanical systems, computer science, and data-driven intelligence to develop professionals capable of designing, building, and deploying autonomous and intelligent solutions.

The program begins with a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, engineering fundamentals, programming, and basic electronics. As students progress, they gain in-depth knowledge of core areas such as robotics systems, sensors and actuators, control systems, embedded systems, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and intelligent decision-making algorithms. Equal emphasis is placed on both hardware and software aspects of robotics and AI.

Hands-on learning is a key focus of the curriculum. Students work in well-equipped laboratories, engage in mini-projects, simulations, and industry-oriented assignments, and use modern tools, frameworks, and robotic platforms. The course also introduces emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, industrial automation, Internet of Things (IoT), cyber-physical systems, and human–robot interaction.

In the final year, students undertake major projects, internships, or research-oriented work that address real-world problems in areas such as healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, defense, smart cities, and service robotics. The program also emphasizes professional ethics, innovation, teamwork, and lifelong learning to meet global engineering standards.

Graduates of this program are well prepared for careers as robotics engineers, AI engineers, automation specialists, data scientists, and research professionals, or for higher studies and entrepreneurship in advanced technologies.
