Aeronautics R&D board, Govt. of India sanctioned ₹ 18.514 lacs for the project titled Power management system for energy efficient hybrid power source for UAV submitted by Sreepathy R&D division. The placement department of SIMAT guided by a team of talented faculty members regularly conducts placement programs for the students so that they become suitable for any employment. The placement training programs are mandatory and cover entire students of the college right from the first year to the final year. to make the program more effective, we have associated with reputed institutions like FACE Coimbatore, Craft Success Infinitz Solutions, Pragmatix, etc. who are imparting comprehensive training by using student-friendly methods.

We take the safety and well being of our students very seriously. In and around the college campus, ragging is entirely forbidden and an anti-ragging cell exists to provide students on the college campus with a safe and homely atmosphere. Our primary aim is to raise awareness among students of what is ragging, what students’ acts turn out to be ragging, and how it is punishable.

Pass in higher secondary or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and qualification in the CEE conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Kerala. The seat sharing will be based on the decision of the State Government.
Seats are available for lateral entry to 3rd semester to three year diploma holders who have passed the Lateral Entry Test conducted by Government of Kerala.
