The Civil Engineering department organized an Expert Talk on ”Advances in Steel Construction” by Mr. Jikhil Joseph, Research Scholar, IIT Madras on 12th February 2018.
An Expert Talk on “Soil as a Construction Material” by Ms. Akhila, Research Scholar, NIT Calicut was arranged by the Civil Engineering department on 18 th, January, 2018.

In appreciation of their project “ Man Hole Gas Detection and Alert System”, six students of 3^rd year EEE department have been awarded a cash prize of Rs 10,000/- by The Kerala State Council for Science and Technology& Environment. The students are Jaswin, Jaison.C; Praveen.O.V;Vishnu.C.V; Nithin .I and Aiswarya.M.R.
