S8- University  Results The major achievement was the excellent results produced by our students (2016-20 batch) in the University Examination as indicated below.

Training & Placement The academic year gone by was a very prospective year for the department. Personality development and communication skill programs have been conducted for their intellectual growth and to inculcate professional competency for the students with full Energy and passion. Similar to last year, the dept. was able to provide top quality outsourced training for various batches in the areas of soft skills, mathematical aptitude etc and has  made sincere efforts in sustaining the momentum gained by, via continuous in-house training  with the help of a team of dedicated  faculties from various departments. The department has also made some commendable efforts in providing opportunities for the students  to take part in various recruitment drives of around 90 plus organisations, via campus/off campus/pooled campus recruitment drives, job fairs etc. The details of few of our students who got placements, are given below

  Co curricular and extracurricular Activities  In the co curricular and extracurricular areas more facilities/ opportunities were created during the year. Students were encouraged to participate in the various arts / sports / cultural / technical events both in the college and outside. Many of our students won prizes in these events. Our students have even presented their project topic and technical papers in state level events. The year has also witnessed the glory of securing ranks in university levels by our students thereby enriching the history of academic achievements of SIMAT.
